To Our Loyal Readers,
After a fifteen year run, the final publication of the Global Custody Yearbook was released in 2009.

When the Yearbook series first started, over twenty global custodians actively participated; industry consolidation has reduced this number to eight. Also, the need for survey participants to keep certain requested information closer to the vest because of changes in the legal and regulatory landscape has limited the quantitative information available for our analysis and publication. So, the old business model seems to have run its course.

I want to personally thank you for your support and outstanding contribution over the years. Possibly, in the year ahead a new publishing concept may evolve ...one of interest to the global custodian community and our loyal readership. I look forward to any comments or suggestions that you may have along these lines. Hopefully, we will have an opportunity to collaborate on a new approach in the near future.
