Private Banking Focused in Japan

In Japan, domestic and overseas financial institutions are expanding their  private banking business. Both domestic institutions that aim to improve commission revenues, and overseas banks that hope to penetrate the Japanese market, target affluent individuals as clients.  This market segment has stronger needs for portfolio management under the continuous low interest rate environment.

Private banking business includes a wide variety of services.  This article discusses and examines Western-style, private banking practices, including the latest developments and opportunities in Japan.
